Assalamualaikum... WBT
First of all, i would to thanks to those who visits and read my blog. It's been a while since my last update, i am truly LAZYYYYYYY. As I know, nothing special in here, however, i am very grateful that u still hv a gut to click. :) To be honest, there is no interesting post, but i think i want to share my experience during my job interview with Petronas.
I will never expect that a one of the biggest oil and gas company will call me for an interview. I had a goosebump and i am really surprised!!!
On 14 June 2017 at 9 am, wow.. i still remember this date and time because i get too excited. Hahahaa I received a call from one of their HR personnel notify me to come for an interview on 16 July, Friday at 11:30 am. I will name her as Puan F. From our conversation, Puan F sounds very friendly. She said that she will drop an email if I agree to come to this session and I may reschedule to fit my time. However, without thinking further, I said that I agreed with the proposed date and time. I was informed that this session will be more like chitchatting.
As for your information, i really don't have a sufficient time to google and get tips for an interview. I just surrender on any consequences. Redhaaaa..

The day has come... to be honest, i am nervous.
I took LRT from Subang Jaya to KLCC. It takes about 45 minutes to reach there. After arriving, i asked the lady security for Tower 1. She is very helpful and friendly. I went straight to the Tower 1 without hesitation and walk with confidence. (Konon je, nervous weiii...). I proceed to the reception counter and inform them that i have an appointment with Puan F for an interview today. They asked for MyKad and immediately issued the visitor pass. Wow.. The chills gets into my nerves. As a Muslim, i try to calm myself while reciting a simple surah and dua while heading up to the 36 floor.
Once reached to the 36 floor, it looks empty and very quiet. I kept on walking and search for the room that they assigned. Once i stepped in, im a bit stunt as there are quite a number of meeting rooms and it looks very cozy and nice. Outside of the meeting room is full of sofa. They are a group of people are doing a discussion. Some of the rooms were occupied with meeting and some might be an interview session was on going. Whatever... I saw the room that Puan F assigned, but i preferred to sit on the sofa while waiting for her coz the room was empty. I arrived "ngam ngam" 15 minutes prior the session started.
After a while, one lady came and approach me, yes, she is Puan F and we greetings each other. Indeed, she is very nice and friendly not only during the phone call ok.. We have a short conversation while waiting for the interviewers. I passed my resume and all the copy of my certificates and she even look at the original certs.
I asked Puan F, how many sessions does she think i need to attend, however, she said usually for this position, only once. Wowwwiiii.. i hope its true. (dalam hati ada taman hehhehe)
The interviewers arrived almost 10 minutes late. But, its ok.. i get more nervous when i saw them heading to the room. huhuuuu Puan F went to see them and passed my resume to both of them while i am waiting patiently. After that came to me and said that the interviewers will call my name later. She also mentioned politely, once the session finished, if she have time she will come to see me, otherwise, i may leave and no need to wait for her. Before she left, i shake hands with her and say many thanks for call me for an interview today.
At 11:45am, one of the interviewers called my name, and I walked into the room. I try to throw my nervous and walk confidently. Once entered, i smile, shake hands with both of them and introduce myself. Both of them are the doctors. They introduce themselves and they told me not to be nervous as this is considered a chit chat session. Phewww...
Dr A started the conversation and told me to start with introduction about myself, family, education and followed by employment history. I smile while taking a deep breath (Bismillahirrahmanirrahim).
Alhamdulillah, i able to remain calm throughout the session. There are so many questions they throw at me, again, Alhamdulillah, I manage to answer without hesitation.
Before i left, both the doctors told me to go to see the bridge. They said that i can only see from the outside, but i cannot enter as i don't have a pass. I smile and said, InsyaAllah.
Finally... Alhamdulillah.. Alhamdulillah... Alhamdulillah.... Everything goes well as per plan... Now, it's time for me to keep on praying hard hoping to be accepted. (BIG grinds on my face yawww).
InsyaAllah, i will write again if there any a good news i wanna share... (finger crossed).
Pssttt: Actually, by the time i am posting this, i already received a gud news from them... :)
